Paint Michigan’s Beauty in this Lapeer Art Class

An upcoming acrylic paint class is all about the majesty of a Michigan summer in the pines.

The Imagination Uncorked class will take place 3 – 5 p.m. on Saturday, May 21 at Gallery 194 in Historic Downtown Lapeer. In this class, instructor Linda Jackman will guide participants step-by-step to create this beautiful painting. Cost for this class is $25 per person.

Unlike more traditional painting classes. Imagination Uncorked class invite the participants to bring snacks and beverages, even alcohol. The atmosphere is fun and casual; like a gathering of friends rather than a rigidly structured environment. 

Imagination Uncorked classes provide participants with everything they need to create a finished painting in two hours. All materials are provided. All participants must register in advance. Tickets can be purchased at the box office in Gallery 194, by calling 810- 664-4824 or by visiting centerfortheartslapeer.org.

Gallery 194 is open noon – 6 p.m. Tuesday – Saturday and is located at 194 W. Nepessing Street in Historic Downtown Lapeer.
