Call for Artists: Community Art Exhibit with Landscape Themes

This land is our land, and this landscape show needs you!

The Center for the Arts of Greater Lapeer is hosting this Second Annual Community Art Show, and the theme this year is all about landscapes; This Land is Our Land.

Art of all mediums from Lapeer Area artists is welcome, so long as the art depicts a landscape. Pieces can be submitted in person at Gallery 194 or via email to Laurel@pixlapeer.org.

This is a juried show, and selected pieces will be on display at Gallery 194 July 6 - Aug. 13. All pieces must be submitted to the gallery by June 23 for the selection process. Two dimensional pieces such as paintings must be ready to hang with a wire hanger to be accepted into the show. Artists will be able to choose if they wish to list their work as being for sale or not.

Gallery 194 first introduced their Annual Community Art Show last year with For the Birds, a bird themed show that had 116 pieces on display.

Gallery 194 is located at 194 W. Nepessing Street in Historic Downtown Lapeer.
